Jzool.com staff usage notes
Here's an honest description of the item after Jzool.com staff had tried out this item for a month (Please note that these are just personal accounts and the experience may vary depending on the user)

The AudioBone felt quite different from any of the headphones we've tried in the past, and it does take some taking used to. The slight vibration from the contact pieces feels a bit "fuzzy" at first but after a few hours use you start to not notice it. The perceived volume really varies depending on where you position the contact pieces. For us they worked best when they're positioned just in front of the ear canal. You do have to crank up the volume a bit to get good audio, though. To give you a concrete example using the iPod, we usually have the volume setting at slightly below 50% (of maximum) when we listen to music but using the AudioBone we found it best on settings above 90% of maximum. It pretty much does what it says it does, allowing you to hear ambient sound while in use. This may or may not be a good thing when you're using it outdoors - some of our staff used it while commuting on their bikes and found that sometimes the noise of traffic would drown out what they were listening to even when the volume was set to maximum. This is, in fact, what it's supposed to do, and it does make things safer for you but it nevertheless takes away from the experience if you really want to be concentrating on the music. It does work nicely indoors, though. One of our staff members uses it permanently so he can listen to the boss grumbling while working at the same time.
All-in-all, we think conventional headphones will provide much better audio quality but the audio bones should be a satisfactory set if you're into bone conduction, or if you just want to look really different (we've certainly gathered some attention when using them out on the street!)
